Grilled Fontina Rise and Shine
Good morning, grilled cheese! It starts with roasted garlic & onion jam generously spread atop a pretzel bread. Joined by arugula, fontina cheese, tomatoes, and a sunny-side up egg – it's going to be a good day.
Preheat oven to 425°F.
Place pretzel roll on a baking sheet. Lightly toast bread on both sides; about 1 to 2 minutes each side in oven.
Spread onion jam on the interior side of toast, top with arugula, followed by shredded cheese; place in oven and melt for about 4 to 5 minutes. Add sliced tomatoes; return to oven until cheese starts to bubble and brown around the edges; 3 to 4 minutes longer. Add egg and heat an additional 2 minutes. Keep an eye on it; when its browned enough for your taste, remove from oven and serve right away.
