January 8th—Fearlessly Archived—Still a fun read; price & availability may have changed.
Yountville, situated along highway 24 near the southern end of the Napa Valley, is home to famous restaurants, gorgeous scenery, and some very excellent wine. It's one of the coolest areas of the Napa Valley, which means its growing season is longer than most. The longer growing season results in grapes with great depth of character, which in turn results in wines with that same bold personality.
One of our winery partners presented us with a phenomenal deal on 100% Yountville Chardonnay, a rarity, because there's not a lot of Chardonnay grown in the appellation. We really took to the wine because it was big and bold without being oaky and buttery. It's a wine style that's unique and distinctive, and that's what led us to bestow upon it our Trader Joe's Reserve label. Full-bodied, clean and crisp, the wine has intense white peach and apple flavors with bright acidity and lively mineral notes. It's a good companion to a cheese course, and a smooth sipping wine.
We're selling each 750ml bottle of TJ's Reserve Yountville Chardonnay for $9.99. Quantities are limited; wine of this quality, at this price is bound to go quickly.
TJ’s Reserve Yountville Chardonnay is currently available in Trader Joe's stores where wine is sold (not available in ME) , and it is $9.99. Alcohol availability & price may vary due to state laws, taxes, shipment fees & other such stuff. (If we could, we would.)
