March 17th—Fearlessly Archived—Still a fun read; price & availability may have changed.
The wines you'll find labeled VINTJS at Trader Joe's are sometimes challenging to categorize, yet they all share some specific qualities. They come from explicit appellations and are excellent representations of the quality and style of a particular wine from that area. They also represent terrific values - wines of similar quality, from like locations, will most certainly cost you significantly more if you were able to find them elsewhere. Beyond these similarities, every VINTJS wine has its own story to tell.
VINTJS Sonoma County Sauvignon Blanc comes to us from one of our largest winery partners. They were able to source a large amount of excellent Sonoma County Sauvignon Blanc "juice" from a well-regarded grower, and their winemaker, in collaboration with our wine buyer, crafted this lovely Sauvignon Blanc for Trader Joe's. It's a crisp, dry, and citrusy white, with grapefruit, lemon, and apple notes that carry through to a bright, refreshing finish. White wine with pizza? Absolutely. Try it with a spicier pizza or a non-traditional pie topped with Indian-inspired ingredients like Palak Paneer.
We're selling VINTJS Sonoma County Sauvignon Blanc in 750ml bottles for $7.99 each, while it lasts.
* VINTJs Sonoma County Sauvignon Blanc is currently available in Trader Joe's stores where wine is sold. It is $7.99 (plus tax). Alcohol availability & price may vary due to state laws, taxes, shipment fees & other such stuff. (If we could, we would.)
