By now we all know that Greek yogurt has transformed the yogurt world, bringing energy and innovation to a once staid and relatively unexciting segment of the food biz. The tang! The texture! It was a near-universal love at first bite. We make the jump to “near-universal” because we sell more Greek yogurt than you can shake a strainer at. 

And so, not-new-and-yet-by-all-measures-thrilling, we present for your consideration Trader Joe’s Honey, Apricot Mango, and Strawberry Vanilla Greek Yogurts. These particular selections of Greek Yogurt are made using whole milk, so they’re classified as full fat. Interestingly, “full fat, whole milk” dairy products have about 3.5% butterfat, which really isn’t that much more than what you find in 2% reduced fat varieties. The biggest difference is really in the flavor and texture; whole milk yogurt tends to be richer and creamier. These live up to that expectation, and their rich, sweet flavors are ideal complements to the inherent tanginess of Greek style yogurt. They contain live, active cultures like L. Bulgaricus, L. Acidophilus, and Bifidus.

Perhaps best of all, these whole milk Greek Yogurts are extremely well priced at $1.29 for each eight ounce cup. Talk about a value! You’ll find them in our dairy case.
