It’s Not Easy Being Green
“Monster slime,” “pond scum,” “toxic sludge”… Some claim that this juice bears a striking resemblance in appearance. It’s a very green juice. Those who have given it a gulp claim that this juice is, “amazingly fruity,” “awesomely yummy,” “delicious!”
Trader Joe’s Green Plant Juice has proven to even the most tentative tongues that looks aren’t everything. You can have your healthy greens and your lovely fruit-infused flavors, too. Yes, there is a bounty of broccoli, spinach, barley grass, chlorella and spirulina that gives this juice its compelling hue and a healthful boost. What isn’t readily evident, however, is the vibrant-sweet blend of 100% fruit juices and purées – apple, peach, pineapple, banana and mango – that dominate its taste. Green Plant is smooth, sweet – yes, some say yummy – juice that is an excellent source of vitamin C and a good source of Iron and Potassium. At our price of $3.69 for each 64 fluid ounce bottle, goodness greenness, this juice is worth a go!
Culinary Curiosity: We’ve considered asking Kermit the Frog, Oscar the Grouch and the Incredible Hulk to endorse Green Plant
Juice. Not really, but if the color fits…
When green is all there is to be
It could make you wonder why, but why wonder why?
Wonder, I am green and it’ll do fine, it’s beautiful!
And I think it’s what I want to be.
