Crafted to our specifications from the first press of Arbequina olives grown on estate ranches in the Sierra foothills, our California Estate Olive Oil features a fruity, well-balanced flavor. The olives are sustainably grown on trellises like wine grapes, and are 100% drip irrigated to reduce water usage while enhancing their natural flavor, and thus, the flavor of the oil. You can certainly use it for cooking, but its flavor is so vibrant it virtually screams to be used in fresh fashions. Drizzle over your favorite pasta, toss with greens (our Organic Romaine Hearts, perhaps?) and our Gold Balsamic Vinegar for a garden-fresh salad. Or simply use as dipping oil for a warm, crusty Baguette. We’re selling a 500 ml (16.9 fluid ounces) bottle of Trader Joe’s California Estate Extra Virgin Olive Oil for $5.99 – the same terrific price we’ve had for more than five years.
